I haven’t talked much about my side ambient project TRANSIENT PHASE, but it’s something I’ve worked towards on-and-off over the past two years between other projects. It’s very different than any of my instrumental albums or Indian music projects. It’s meant to be background music, or relaxation music. Like a soundtrack to the story of of your own life.
The first Transient Phase album A WEDNESDAY IN SEPTEMBER is now available across all digital music platforms. I hope you all can take a moment to breathe in this increasingly hectic world and enjoy some calm, soothing music.

I had the good fortune to work with my close friend and uber-talented composer Enrique Ponce on this duo project, which we call 1world. It's ethnic chillout music – downtempo beats, moody synths, and flavors of world musical styles from around the globe. We had a great time collaborating on this project while we were at Berklee together and we're happy to finally release these tracks!

We had a successful first show earlier this year at the Berry Center in Cypress, Texas. The magnitude of response and outpouring of appreciation for the concert has been absolutely overwhelming from the local audience as well as the guest of honor at the event, Avadhoot Gupte.

The SUR OLAKHICHE band and I have been hard at work rehearsing since last fall. We are super excited to go on stage for the first show on February 12! All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Houston Maharashtra Mandal's Vastu project - a dream to build a Maharashtrian community center in the greater Houston area.
Don't miss this show - it's sure to be a one of a kind production. :) See you all from the Berry Center stage on February 12th!
